Hello!
Hope you're sitting comfortably, I know I am ... safely and peacefully ensconced in my daughter's living room having just taken delivery of her new kitchen while she's at work.
My word, she needed a new kitchen. She has been fortunate enough to get a house at a bargain basement price, bought from my Mother, who inherited it from her brother. But it needs some work. Sadly my Uncle was more prone to spending his spare money on trees, so the back garden looks a little like Sherwood Forest!
So .... here I am, drooling over her new fridge/freezer which in itself is the size of a small house ...
What I hope this blog will do is show my humour, thoughts, actions and feelings in black and white. I am at that stage where my children are all flying the nest, I have a few very small part time jobs, and a deep knot niggling at me somewhere inside. I think the breeze of change is settling upon me!
